Dr. Stephanie Peltz, ND

NATUROPATHIC PHYSICIAN
North Vancouver, BC

I am an evidence-informed Naturopathic Doctor with over 17 years of clinical experience, supporting women and families through life’s major transitions — from fertility and pregnancy to postpartum, perimenopause, and beyond.

My clinical focus includes women’s hormonal health, fertility and reproductive care, pediatric health, anxiety, stress and burnout, nervous system regulation, and nutrition for energy, mood, and metabolic health. I trained at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine (now CCNM Boucher Campus) and began my professional path with a background in studying chemistry at McGill. I have also worked as a birth doula and yoga instructor, bringing a whole-person lens to both physical and emotional health. I am licensed to practice naturopathic medicine in both Ontario and British Columbia and remain actively engaged in continuing education and peer collaboration.

What I love most about naturopathic medicine is its ability to meet people where they are. Naturopathic care fits into daily life by emphasizing realistic, sustainable strategies — small shifts in nutrition, lifestyle, and nervous system support that build resilience over time.
My approach prioritizes evidence-based medicine while honoring individuality, helping patients better understand their health, build trust in their bodies, and make informed choices that feel achievable in real life.

As a parent to a teen and a golden retriever mix rescue, I’ve spent lots of time on the trails of the North Shore. The amazing access to rivers, ocean, forest, and chill neighbourhood life reflects the kind of health I encourage — rooted, steady, and supportive of both physical and emotional well-being.

My perfect day includes a few quiet moments for meditation or journaling, a morning walk in the Headwaters with a matcha and my dog, Poppy. It usually involves a good brunch, some kind of movement I enjoy — like strength training or yoga — and a stretch of unstructured time to read, nap, or do a puzzle. It ends with a simple meal at home with family or close friends, and an early bedtime.

I look forward to welcoming you into my practice and walking alongside you as you navigate your health journey. My goal is for every patient to feel heard, supported, and empowered — with care that is thoughtful, evidence-based, and deeply human.
